Screen printing is a direct-to-disc high quality, durable print that uses film and screens to transfer special ink onto the disc surface, giving a glossy finish. Screen printing is best for printing PMS colours and recordable media.
Screen printing is 150 lines/inch (48 lines/cm) and the tonal range is 10 – 90%.
Offset Printing is a direct-to-disc high quality, durable print that uses metal plates to transfer special ink onto the disc surface, giving a matt finish. Offset printing is best for printing CMYK, replicated discs and gradients (not available for CD/DVD-R).
Offset printing is 175 lines/inch (60 lines/cm) and the tonal range is 15 – 85%.
